Frater, Jno. T. (John Taylor), b 1848.

Minnesota public official and Indian agent. Born in Ohio in 1848, Frater moved to Brainerd, Minn., in 1881. He served as Crow Wing County treasurer, 1888-1904, state senator, 1905, and Indian agent at the Leech Lake Agency from Aug. 7, 1906, until at least 1910.
